The DEADLINE FOR ENTRIES is included on each form and is at least 7 days prior to the scheduled event (e.g. the deadline for the January 10, 2009 tournament is January 3rd). Tournament entry forms and payment will be accepted at the course but the preferred method of entry is by mail to the tournament director, Sean Gallagher, to arrive at least 7 days prior to the event. Entries for club events must be accompanied by payment. Cut-off dates for tournament entry will be enforced. After the report of players has been given to the course, times will be given back for open play.
WEEKEND GREEN FEES are payable from all tournament participants unless their membership provides for weekend green fees ($37.00 each at time of this publication). If applicable, deduct $37 from your tournament coupon prior to submission.
GOLF CARTS , whether optional or mandatory, are the individual's responsibility unless otherwise specified for a particular event.
Some tournaments have an optional NCGA QUALIFYING EVENT
associated with them. When applicable, this portion of the tournament will be determined separately, using NCGA flights.
Please note dress code information below. This will be strictly enforced in NCGA events.
Persons that were Charter, Silver, Gold, Platinum or Sports Members
as of December 31, 2009, and whose dues are current as of the entry
deadline dates are eligible to participate in 2010 NCGA events and the
2010 Club Championship.
All other Rio La Paz Golf Club participants must have participated in a minimum of four (4) monthly Rio La Paz
Golf Club tournament events in the previous 12-month period to be eligible to participate in the NCGA
qualifying portion of a tournament. Any lapse in membership requires the 12-month period to start over.
NCGA TEAM MATCH has been suspended for 2010.
In order to be eligible for a piece of the HOLE-IN-ONE FUND, players must get the hole-in-one in a club-sponsored event. If nobody achieves this, the fund will be used to augment the Christmas tournament.
CADDIES / SPECTATORS are not allowed in any events unless approved in advance by the tournament director. Under no circumstance is a caddy/spectator allowed to ride in a cart.
The Rio La Paz Golf Club reserves the right to ADJUST A PLAYER’S HANDICAP, or decline an entry to any competition based upon previous performances in club events.
In all club events, members must dress in PROPER GOLF ATTIRE. This will be strictly enforced in NCGA events. Typically, blue jeans, designer jeans, T-shirts and tank tops are prohibited. Both men and women must wear collared shirts and shorts, if worn, must be no more than 3 inches above the knee. No jean shorts are allowed. Failure to wear proper attire may result in penalty assessments. Players not adhering to the dress code in NCGA events are not allowed to play until such time as the “violation” is corrected… And you also have to deal with penalties for delay of play.
Any QUESTIONS relating to tournament rules, formats, etc. may be sent via e-mail to Tournament Director.
