The RLPGC is a mixed member (male and female) club. While the purpose is to promote the sport of golf and to encourage a high standard of sportsmanship and friendship among its members, our goal is to support the golf course in becoming a private golf course.
Those members in good standing with NCGA and the management of the River Oaks Golf Club (course) are encouraged to join. If you are already a member of NCGA and don’t have an established handicap, don’t worry. Save your scorecards and submit them with your membership application (be sure to have the cards dated) and we will enter them when we obtain your Golf Handicap Index Number (GHIN) that is assigned when you are added to the RLPGC membership roster.
Those golf club members that are also dues paying members often enjoy lower tournament fees, as green fees are included in both the platinum membership as well as some of the business membership packages offered by the course. Please refer to www.riolapazgolf.com and look at the membership information. Additionally, the minimum tournament rule is waived for dues paying members.
The Rio La Paz Golf Club (RLPGC) is a Regular Club of the Northern California Golf Association for male and female golfers. While there is no minimum age for participation in most of the club tournaments, the NCGA events do have specific eligibility requirements.
